doubleTwist

doubleTwist desktop was created with the idea of making it easier to share multimedia files between various devices and users.

The application is capable of eliminating the restrictions included in some multimedia files that prevent them from being played on a device or software different from the one where they were acquired, like iTunes, for example.

Devices compatible with doubleTwist desktop are the following: Sony PSP, Song Ericsson and Nokia N-series smartphones, and the these file formats: 3GP, MPEG, MPEG2, WMV, AVI, MP3, AAC/M4A, WMA, JPG, GIF, PNG, and BMP.

doubleTwist desktop integrates with Facebook, so you can share files from there. Of course, there are some limitations:

-Files shared using Facebook have a size limit of 10 MB.

-Video and audio shared thrhough doubleTwist desktop need to be shorter than 10 and 20 minutes, respectively.

-Large images will be converted to 800 x 600 resolution.
